W064 - Four Tier Ivory Blossom Wedding Cake

Here's a gorgeous wedding cake but a very poor photo! This is a four tier cake which is iced in ivory sugarpaste and trimmed with ivory satin ribbon. The detail to the front of the cake features blossoms and piped vines and stems and swirls up to the top tier.

W063 - Four Tier Claret and White Wedding Cake

Recently it was the wedding of Lindsay and Kyle, and I had the great honour of making their wedding cake and surprise groom's cake! They had ordered a four tier wedding cake decorated with delicate piped swirls and quilted effect finished with silver dragees and, unknown to Kyle, Lindsay had ordered him a groom's cake in the shape of a VW camper van, as he loves them!

Here's a version of our very popular wedding cake, this time with dusky pink ribbon detail and soft pink roses.

W062 - Four Tier Teal Ribbon and Brooch Wedding Cake

This weekend saw me being quite busy, to say I'm still on maternity leave! I had two cake orders to fulfill and this is the first of them which I delivered to Bagden Hall Hotel (www.classiclodges.co.uk/Bagden_Hall_Hotel_West_Yorkshire) for Fran's wedding.

This was a four tier wedding cake, with the top tier being luxurious fruit cake covered with marzipan, the next layer being vanilla, then lemon, then chocolate cake. Two tiers are square and two are round, adding a bit of interest. There are two brooches on the square tiers and piped detail on the round tiers.
