Cadburys Purple and Ivory Cupcake Tower

Here's a cupcake tower we created for our friend's wedding. Featuring ivory and Cadburys-style purple buttercream and fully edible glitter, these cupcakes are baked into Cadburys-style purple cases and the tower is topped with a gluten free vanilla cake.

Massive congratulations to Lydia and Chris!

Cascading Hearts 3 Tier Wedding Cake (W008)

Here's a gorgeous cake we delivered at the weekend for Julia's wedding at Hey Green Hotel, Huddersfield. Two tiers of chocolate cake and a top tier of fruit iced in white fondant and then trimmed with diamante edging. Finished off with a cascade of hearts down the front of the cake and a heart topper spray provided by the bride herself.

Congratulations to Julia and her new hubby! xx

Four Tier Pale Blue Wedding Cake with Butterflies and Lace

Here's a cake which is a little bit different. It's a gorgeous pale blue colour with ivory lace and ribbon trim and ivory butterflies trailing down the side.

Groom/Tuxedo Cookie Wedding Favours :)

These are some cookies I made for a recent wedding. It's a really poor photo as I thought I could get some more photos when I got to the venue, but the wedding coordinator set them all out for me!

They were home made shortbread cookies decorated with fondant with royal icing details. They were then presented in a cellophane bag tied with a ribbon to match the bride's scheme.

I'll hopefully get chance to do some more samples over the next few weeks, when the mad wedding rush has calmed down!

Woohoo! I won!!

I recently entered a prize draw online to win a hamper filled with Belgian chocolate. I shouldn't have done really, as I'm trying to lose my baby weight and chocolate is definitely not going to help me with this, but I ended up winning and the fabulous hamper was delivered today!

Massive thanks to Lindsey at Heavenly Fountains
(http://www.facebook.com/www.heavenlyfountains.co.uk). Go take a look at their Facebook page, and click on 'Like'. Their chocolate fountains are amazing!

Now, where to hide it so I don't eat it all at once...

W064 - Four Tier Ivory Blossom Wedding Cake

Here's a gorgeous wedding cake but a very poor photo! This is a four tier cake which is iced in ivory sugarpaste and trimmed with ivory satin ribbon. The detail to the front of the cake features blossoms and piped vines and stems and swirls up to the top tier.

A gorgeous glamorous cake!

Claret/Burgundy Heart Wedding Cupcake Tower

It's been a while since my last post, which is very naughty of me and I'm very very VERY sorry! I've been enjoying my maternity leave before our baby arrives, making the most of the time I have before the sleepless nights, the sick, the crying (and that's just from me and my hubby!).

Here's a few photos kindly provided by the gorgeous bride of a wedding cupcake tower we delivered to Wood Hall Spa near Wetherby (lovely hotel, by the way. It's got a spa and everything!).

The theme was claret and ivory, with the bride even having claret nails for her big day.

There were 70 cupcakes altogether, with a mix of vanilla and chocolate sponge, each having ivory vanilla frosting swirls and a heart in either claret or ivory on the top.

Big big congratulations! xx

Heart Shaped Cookies for Wedding Favours/Place Settings

Great for wedding favours or place settings (or both - two birds, one stone comes to mind, saving a bit of moolah!), these cookies can be decorated in any colour and with any message.

Naked cookies before decoration

I made a few with chocolate chips in for me and my hubby to nibble - this is all that's left :~) x

We can also wrap them in cellophane and ribbon to match your wedding colour scheme but they'd also be great for baby showers, christenings, birthdays - any occasion really!

They're yummy - I made a load of them over the weekend and I've only got one left hehe xx
